Pull and smoothen rubber tubes on the centering pegs of the airbag contact unit (Figure 1. Item A).

Note:

Ensure that there are no bulges on the rubber tubes.

5.

Grease the the rubber tubes (Figure 1 Item A) with grease Part No. 000 043 205 83.

6.

Install the steering wheel in straight ahead position and tighten it with a torque of 50 Nm (37 ft-lb.).

Note:

Use new multiple-tooth screw, Part No. N 910 207 01.

7.

Install driver's side airbag.

8.

Remove the vehicle from the hoist.
