SUNROOF

Service repair no - 76.84.01

Remove

1. Remove headlining. See this section.

2. Release 4 clips and disconnect drain tubes.
3. Disconnect multiplug from motor and release 2 relay holders from brackets.
4. Release 5 clips securing harness to sunroof tray.
5. Slacken 2 bolts securing motor bracket to roof panel.
6. Remove 8 bolts securing sunroof to roof panel and lower front end.
7. Fully recline driver’s seat back, release sunroof rear hooks from roof bracket and remove sunroof assembly through rear door aperture.

NOTE: Assistance may be required to remove the sunroof assembly.

Refit

1. Fit sunroof assembly and tighten bolts to 9 Nm.

NOTE: Side to side adjustment of the sun roof is carried out at this stage of the refit.

2. Tighten bolts securing motor bracket to roof panel.
3. Secure harness clips to roof tray.
4. Fit relay holders to brackets and connect multiplug to motor.
5. Connect drain tubes and secure with clips.
6. Check operation of sunroof.
7. Fit headlining. See this section.
