t  Gearbox repair set -U-40200-
t  Threaded taps with hammer -U-40087-
t  Tool for fitting/removing clutch lever shaft bushes -T20061-

   
1 - Sealing cap
q   Renew
q   Removal: Remove levering with a screwdriver, → Chapter
q   Fit → Fig.
2 - Clutch relase collar
q   Can be replaced with the gearbox in place
3 - Clutch lever
q   It fits in only one position
4 - Small bearing bush
q   Remove → Fig.
q   Fit → Fig.
5 - Safety clip
6 - Needle roller bearing
7 - Large bearing bush
q   Remove → Fig.
q   Fit → Fig.
8 - Oil seal
q   Fit → Fig.
q   Can be replaced with the gearbox fitted, removing the clutch release shaft, → Item
9 - Clutch release shaft
q   Removal: remove the sealing cap, → Item, and securing clip, → Item and remove the axle
10 - Gearbox casing cover
q   As a spare, only the model with bushes is supplied → Item and → Item
11 - Oil fill screw
q   25 Nm
q   Without magnet

   
Fitting the lid
  Note!
The sealing surfaces of the gearbox lid must be totally free from grease.

Remove the large bush bearing

Fit the large bush bearing

Remove the small bush bearing
  Note!
Always change the bush bearing if it is damaged on removal.

Fit the small bush bearing

Fitting the clutch release shaft oilseal
–  Coat the lips of the new oilseal with universal grease.
