Torque settings

–  Gearbox on the engine:

1)  M8 threaded bolt 2)  Only on the 1.4 litre, 55 KW plate cover for the engine flywheel with bolt M10×35 A: Dowel sleeves for centring

–  Securing the console -1- to the gearbox: –  Replace bolts. –  Hand-tighten all the bolts. –  Tighten the bolt -A- to the correct torque. –  Tighten the bolt -B- to the correct torque.

40 Nm + 90°

–  Attaching the gearbox to the bodywork: –  Replace bolts. –  Hand-tighten all the bolts. –  Tighten the bolts -arrows- to the correct torque.

Note Install the engine assembly bracket without tension → Rep. Gr.10.

Gearbox slave cylinder	20 Nm
Connection / gear selection lever to the selector lever	25 Nm
Cable counter support to gearbox	25 Nm
Pendulum support to the subframe and the gearbox	→ Running gear, axles, steering; Rep. Gr.40
Complete (articulated) half shaft	→ Running gear, axles, steering; Rep. Gr.40
Swinging arm ball joint	→ Running gear, axles, steering; Rep. Gr.40
Connection bar to the stabilizer bar	→ Running gear, axles, steering; Rep. Gr.40
Double clamp to the exhaust tube	→ Rep. Gr.26
