check the ATF level

–	Switch off the engine.

At the beginning of the test, the ATF temperature must not be higher than about 30 ℃.

l	Gearbox not in emergency running mode; ATF temperature not more than approx. 30° C

l	The vehicle should be in a horizontal position.

l	Selector lever must be in position „P“.

–	Connect the »tester« and continue to switch until it is ready for operation → Fig..

–	Press the right Guided Functions.

–	Then select vehicle, gearbox and Check ATF level.

–

→ press.

–	Start the engine.

–	Raise vehicle.

–	Place container under the gearbox.

–

→ press.

If a testing temperature is indicated between 35 °C and 45 °C:

–	Remove the sealing plug for ATF level test located in the oil sump.

The ATF left in the overflow tube comes out.

If ATF comes out through the opening:

There is no need to add ATF.

–	Tighten the sealing screw with a new seal, to a torque of 27 Nm. The ATF level check is now completed.

If ATF does not come out through the opening:

–	If ATF has to be added → Chapter.
