| With the engine »running«, screw on the filler adapter -VAS 6262/2- and hand tighten. |

| Shake the oil bottles before opening. |
| –
| Before screwing the adapter for oil filling -VAS 6262 A- onto the oil bottle, observe the notes of the filling tube → Anchor. |

| Pull adapter for oil filling -VAS 6262- off the quick-release coupling and take a look. |
| If ATF now flows out of hole in adapter: |
| There is no need to add ATF. |
| –
| Allow ATF to drain until it is dripping. |
| –
| Tighten the sealing screw with a new seal, to a torque of 27 Nm. The ATF level check is now completed. |
| –
| If another litre has to be added → Chapter. |
WARNING | The ATF level must not be too low or too high, otherwise this would impair the function of the gearbox. If however, 2 litres are already missing, the gearbox should be more thoroughly examined. There is probably a »larger« leakage at hand. |
