Removing and installing ATF strainer
Removing and installing ATF strainer
  Note

Remove the oil strainer
–  Remove oil pan → Chapter.
   
–  Unscrew the bolts for the oil strainer -arrows-.
–  Remove the oil strainer -A- from the selection unit.
Fit the oil strainer
–  Apply a thin layer of ATF to the gaskets located on the intake collar of the oil strainer (reverse).
  Note
If the gaskets on the reverse of the oil strainer to the selection unit are in bad condition or released from the strainer then the strainer must be replaced.
–  Fit the oil strainer -A- on the selection unit and tighten it.

–  Install oil pan → .
–  Fill with ATF, check and correct ATF level → Chapter.
