mobile pinion

t	Check whether, after fitting, the mobile pinions of 1st to 6th gear have slight axial play and move easily.

Synchro-ring or selector gear damaged:

A -	Worn ends of dog teeth on synchro-ring or selector gear.

Synchro-ring or selector gear in perfect condition:

B -	Intact ends of dog teeth on synchro-ring or selector gear.

Mobile sleeve damage

C -	Worn ends of internal splines on locking collar.

Mobile sleeve in perfect condition:

D -	Intact ends of internal splines on locking collar.
