Operation process
  Note
t  Observe rules for cleanliness when working on gearbox → Chapter.
t  Refer to general repair instructions → Chapter.
–  Remove flange shaft (left-side) → Chapter.

–  Pull out oil seal for stub shaft using multi-purpose tool -VW 771- and puller hook -VW 771/37-.
  Note
The oil seal can also be removed with extractor tool -T20143 -.

–  Fill space between sealing lip and dust cap, halfway, with sealing grease. For correct version, refer to → Electronic spare parts catalogue.
  N32-0001
–  Drive in new oil seal until seal reaches stop (take care to keep seal straight).
–  Install flange shaft (left-side) → Chapter.
