Removing
–  Shift selector lever to position „D“.
–  Turn the sleeve -1- to the right and push it down as far as it will go.
–  Carefully lift button -2- away from the selector lever handle -3- just enough to allow the insertion of a cable clamp between the button and the selector lever handle.
  Note
Do not pull the button out any further otherwise damage will be caused to the handle.
–  Use the cable tie to secure the button in its pulled position -arrow-, as shown in the illustration.

t  To install the selector lever handle -3- the button -2- has to be pulled out to the stop and must be secured with either a cable tie -arrow- or with the assembly aid supplied together with the new handle.
t  If, by mistake, the button has not been secured, it must not be pulled out of the selector lever handle using mechanical tools. Place a compressed air gun underneath the handle and make the button come out using compressed air.
–  Push the selector lever -3- fully onto selector lever. The button -2- must point to the driver. The handle must engage in the annular groove on the selector lever.
–  Remove the cable harness -arrow- or the assembly aid; the button mechanism is now inserted into the vertical groove of the selector lever. If necessary, the button must be inserted in the handle.
–  Pull sleeve -1- upwards and clip it in by turning it to the right.
