Right oil seal of the flange shaft, on the outside of the bevelled gear: replace
Right oil seal of the flange shaft, on the outside of the bevelled gear: replace

Special tools and workshop equipment required

Operation process
  Note
t  Can be replaced with gearbox in vehicle.
t  Cleaning norms when working in the gearbox → Chapter.
t  General repair instructions. → Chapter
–  Remove flange shaft (right-side) → Chapter.
–  Remove the flanged shaft oil seal by levering it out with an assembly lever.

–  Fit new seal in as far as it will go using the pressure tool -T10049 -.
  N39-0764
–  Pack space between sealing lip and dust lip -arrow- half full with sealing grease -G 052 128 A1-.
–  Install flange shaft (right-side) → Chapter.
–  Pair of bevelled gears oil level: checking and completing → Chapter.
