Clearing refrigerant circuit of contaminants > < Repair work on refrigerant circuit which may be performed only in appropriate workshops by specially trained mechanics

–  Switch off ignition.
–  Connect the A/C service station to the power supply.
–  Connect quick-release connector adapters to filler hoses for A/C service station (handwheels not turned inwards, i.e. manual stop valves not open).
–  Switch on A/C service station and evacuate filler hoses (necessary only if there is air in the filler hoses).
–  Switch off A/C service station.
–  Unscrew sealing caps from service connections (with valve).
–  Connect service station via service connections to the vehicle refrigerant circuit using quick-release connector adapter.
–  Turn handwheel of quick-release connector adapter inwards only far enough to ensure that valves on service connections are open (check using a manometer; do not overstress valves).
–  Perform the intended measuring and checking work.
