Identification of flange the shaft oil seals, right-side
Identification of flange the shaft oil seals, right-side
The flange shaft oil seal -1- (right-side) is fitted inside a sleeve -2-.
   
There are different versions.
Two piece oil seal -1- and sleeve -2-. Identification characteristic: notches arranged along he length of sleeve -arrow-.
Replace the right sealing ring without sleeve → Chapter.
One-piece oil seal -1- and sleeve -2-. Identification characteristic: there are no recesses on the sleeve.
Renew seal and sleeve together → Chapter.
