q | Mark direction of rotation before removing. |
q | Check for wear |
q | Do not bend |
q | Removing, installing and tensioning → Chapter. |
3 - | 20 Nm + 45° (1/8 turn) |
q | To avoid significant damage to the engine apply correct tightening torques |
4 - | Tensioning roller |
5 - | 100 Nm |

q | With generator wheel |
q | Use retention tool -T10051- to loosen and tighten |
q | For removal use the extraction tool -T10052A- |

q | If this is damaged, replace it |
12 - | Guide roller |
13 - | Coolant pump |
q | removing and fitting → Chapter |
14 - | Crankshaft toothed belt wheel |
15 - | 120 Nm + 90° (1/4 turn) |
q | Replace |
q | Use counter-hold tool -T20018B- to loosen and tighten. |
q | Do not oil or grease the screw thread and the collar further |
q | Turning further can be done in several stages. |
16 - | 15 Nm |

18 - | Toothed belt cover (bottom) |
19 - | Belt pulley and vibration damper |
q | Fitting is only possible in one position, -the holes are distributed asymmetrically- |
