| Hold a small container under the injector to be checked and pull connectors off all other injectors. |

| Have 2nd person operate starter. Injector must spray in pulses. |

| Repeat the check with the other injectors. Make sure that only the injector to be checked is connected. |
Note When checking the spray pattern, make sure that only the injector to be checked is connected. |

| Then check injectors for leaks. No more than 2 drops/min may leak out. |
If the fuel loss is greater: |

| Renew the defective injector → Item. |
When removing and fitting injectors, the following should be borne in mind: |

| Replace the O-rings of any joint opened (to replace the front O-ring do not remove the plastic cap on the injector head under any circumstance, place the O-ring over the cap). |

| Before fitting, the O-rings should be lightly coated with clean engine oil. |

| Insert injectors vertically and in the correct position into the fuel rail and immobilise with the securing clips. |
t
| Fit fuel rail with secured injectors onto intake manifold and insert evenly. |
