Activating checking > < Resistance checking

Voltage supply checking
Voltage supply checking
Checking conditions
   
l  Fuses in perfect condition
l  Earth connection between engine (gearbox casing) and bodywork (below battery) in perfect condition
l  Battery voltage at least 11.5 V
l  Engine speed sender -G28-, OK, checking → Chapter.
l  Hall sender -G40-, OK; checking → Chapter.
l  Fuel pump relay must be OK.
–  Pull connectors from all injectors.
  N24-1481
–  Connect diode test lamp -V.A.G 1527 B- to the injector connector as follows:
  N24-0768
Connector, contactMeasure to
1Engine ground

–  Operate the starter and check the voltage supply for the injector.
The LED must light-up
If the LED does not light up:
–  Switch ignition off.
   
–  Using current flow diagram, check cable for open circuit, between:
  A24-0090
Connector, contactMeasure to
1Fuse Nº 25
Specification: 1.5 Ω max.

The LED must light-up
LED lights up:
–  Check activation of injectors → Chapter.
