Removing
  Note
Collect drained coolant in a clean container for re-use or disposal.
  WARNING
Hot vapour/hot coolant may escape when opening expansion tank. Cover cap with cloth and open carefully.
–  Open the cap of the coolant expansion tank.

–  Detach the outer -1- and inner -2- engine covers, by pulling them evenly upwards.

–  Remove air hose (left side) for intercooler by lifting retaining clips -arrow- slightly.
–  Bring lock carrier into service position: → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. Gr.50
–  Drain coolant → Chapter.

–  Remove air intake hose -arrow- from between lock carrier and air filter housing.

–  Unscrew air duct at lock carrier -arrows-.

–  Detach upper coolant hose -arrow- from radiator.

–  Pull out the plug -1-.
–  Unscrew the bolts for the ventilator cowl -arrows- and remove the ventilator cowl downwards.

–  Unscrew bolts -arrows- of the radiator.
–  Lift the radiator slightly then extract it upwards.
Installing
Fit in reverse order from removal, remembering the following:

t  Replace seals and O-rings.
t  Secure all hose connections with the correct hose clips (original parts) → ETKA (Electronic parts catalogue).
–  Install lock carrier: → General body installation work, exterior; Rep. Gr.50
–  Fill up coolant → Chapter.
