Exhaust gas temperature sender 2, bank 1 -G448-: Removing and installing

t  Tightening torques → Anchor
   
Removing
–  Detach the outer -1- and inner -2- engine covers by pulling them evenly upwards.

–  Separate the electrical connector -3- of the exhaust gas temperature sender 2, bedplate 1 -G448-, and move the cables to one side.

–  Release the fuel and coolant hoses from their fittings on the air duct.
–  Remove bolt -1-.
–  Remove air duct by lifting retaining clips -arrows- slightly.

–  Remove the exhaust gas temperature sender 2, bedplate 1 -G448--5-.
  Note
Disregard items -1 … 4-.
Installing
Continue the installation in the reverse order of removal sequence, observing the following:
  Note
Fit the cable clamps in the same position as they were.
–  When fitting, ensure that the bend of the exhaust gas temperature sender 2, bedplate 1 -G448--5- faces the left side of the vehicle, as shown in the diagram.
Fit the supercharger air system hoses and observe the assembly instructions → Chapter
