1 - Vehicle floor rear cross member
2 - Middle silencer
q   In case of repairs, replace the factory fitted end silencer as one part
q   Separating point → Chapter
q   Align exhaust system without tension → Chapter.
3 - Suspension
q   If this is damaged, replace it
4 - Mounting
q   If this is damaged, replace it
5 - 25 Nm
6 - Mounting
q   If this is damaged, replace it
7 - 25 Nm
8 - 25 Nm
9 - Support
q   For particle filter
10 - 25 Nm
11 - Particulate filter for vehicles with front-wheel drive
q   Mounting positions on the particle filter
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
q   After replacing the particle filter, adjustment must be carried out with the “Guided Fault Finding” → Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051.
12 - Gasket
13 - Securing clip - 7 Nm
14 - Double clamp, front
q   Align exhaust system free from stress before tightening clamp → Chapter
q   Installation position → Fig.
q   Tighten bolted connections evenly.
15 - 25 Nm
16 - Vehicle floor front cross member
17 - 25 Nm
18 - 25 Nm
19 - Double clamp, rear
q   To replace centre and rear silencers separately
q   Installation position → Fig.
q   Tighten bolted connections evenly.
20 - 25 Nm
21 - Suspension
q   If this is damaged, replace it
22 - Rear silencer
q   In the original factory equipment, this is a single piece with the centre silencer. In case of repair, replace separately
q   Separating point → Chapter
q   Align exhaust system without tension → Chapter.
23 - Mounting
q   If this is damaged, replace it
24 - 25 Nm
25 - 25 Nm

   
Installation position of front double clamp
–  Install double clamp so that the bolt end does not project over the clamp lower edge -arrow-.
l  The bolted connection must point to the right.

Installation position of rear double clamp
–  Install double clamp so that the bolt end does not project over the clamp lower edge.
l  The bolted connection must point to the rear.
