t  Wrench kit 17 mm -T10395-, see equivalent → Anchor   Note After replacing the particulate filter or the exhaust gas pressure sensor 1 -G450-, the exhaust gas pressure sensor 1 -G450- must be adjusted using the vehicle diagnostic tester: Guided Functions; Exhaust gas pressure sensor 1 -G450-.

q	Only grease the thread with paste for high temperature bolts -G 052 112 A3- The paste must not get into the slots on the probe body.

q	To remove and install use the lambda probe ring spanner -3337-.

7 -	Exhaust gas temperature sensor 2, bedplate 1 -G448-, 45 Nm

q	Grease the thread of the sensor with paste for high temperature bolts -G 052 112 A3-

q	Removing and installing with the 17 mm wrench kit -T10395-

8 -	Particulate filter for vehicles with front-wheel drive

q	Removing and installing → Chapter

4 -	Pressure hose towards exhaust gas pressure sensor 1 -G450- t  Coat thread with high-temperature paste; for high-temperature paste refer to → Electronic parts catalogue. t  Tighten union nut to 40 Nm.
5 -	Exhaust gas temperature sender 2, bedplate 1 -G448- t  Coat thread with high-temperature paste; for high-temperature paste refer to → Electronic parts catalogue. t  Tighten to 45 Nm

Note Ignore positions -1- and -2-.

Mounting position below, in the particle filter

1 -	Temperature sensor behind particle filter -G527- t  Coat thread with high-temperature paste; for high-temperature paste refer to → Electronic parts catalogue. t  Tighten to 45 Nm
2 -	Pressure hose towards exhaust gas pressure sensor 1 -G450- t  Coat thread with high-temperature paste; for high-temperature paste refer to → Electronic parts catalogue. t  Tighten union nut to 40 Nm.

Installation position of front double clamp –  Place a double clamp -a- = 5 mm from the mark on the front exhaust section with the particle filter.
