  Note
t  All hose connections are secured.
t  The supercharger air system should not leak
t  Renew self-locking nuts.
t  Hose clip pliers -VAS 6340- or spring-type clip pliers -VAS 6499- are recommended for installing spring-type clips.
t  Before pushing the hose on the hose connection / oil supply pipe, fill the turbocharger with engine oil.
t  After fitting the turbocharger, allow the engine to run at idle for 1 min to ensure turbocharger oil supply.

1 - 10 Nm
2 - Support
3 - Heat shield
4 - Oil supply pipe, coupling nut, 22 Nm
q   Check that the oil supply pipe is not obstructed before installing
q   Before fitting, fill the turbocharger with engine oil through the connection of the oil feed tube
5 - Turbocharger
q   Can only be replaced completely along with the exhaust manifold and the pressure capsule
q   Before installing, fill turbocharger with engine oil at connection for oil supply pipe
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
6 - Vacuum hose
7 - Gasket
q   Replace.
q   Note fitting position:
8 - To the particle filter
9 - Clamp, 7 Nm
q   For turbocharger/particle filter
10 - Exhaust manifold
q   Replace only with turbocharger
11 - 25 Nm
q   Replace.
12 - 25 Nm
13 - Gasket
q   Replace.
14 - Connecting pipe
q   For exhaust gas recirculation
q   Exhaust gas recirculation radiator, assembly overview → Chapter
15 - 25 Nm
q   Replace.
16 - 15 Nm
17 - O-ring
q   Replace.
18 - Banjo bolt, 60 Nm
19 - Support plate
q   For the exhaust gas turbocharger
q   with oil backflow tube
20 - Exhaust gas temperature sender -1 -G235-, 45 Nm
q   Grease the thread of the sensor with paste for high temperature bolts -G 052 112 A3-
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
21 - Protector plate
22 - Joint mouth
q   For air intake hose air filter/turbocharger
q   Air filter - Component overview → Chapter
23 - 9 Nm
24 - 10 Nm
