Remove
–  Check safety rules before starting the installation work → Chapter.
–  First check whether the vehicle has a coded radio; if so, consult the antitheft code.
–  With the ignition off, disconnect the battery earth strap.
–  Fold the rear seat forward.
–  Remove the cover from the fuel supply unit.
   
–  Detach the connector -1-.
–  Detach the supply and return lines -3- and -4- to the fuel distributor.
–  Release the supply line -2- to the fuel distributor and the breather hose -5-.
  Note!
To do so, press the hose lock buttons.
  Caution
The fuel supply lines are under pressure. Before loosening the hose connections, fit a cloth round the connection. Then eliminate the pressure carefully removing the hose.

–  Remove the connection nut with spanner -U-40055 A-.
–  Remove the connection nut with spanner -U-40055 A-.
  Note!
If replacing the supply unit, drain the old unit before disposal.
