To fit the sealing flange with the sender wheel to the crankshaft > < Crankshaft sealing flange, on the flywheel side: replacement (vehicles with manual gearbox)
To remove the sealing flange with the sender wheel from the crankshaft
To remove the sealing flange with the sender wheel from the crankshaft
  Note
t  For clarity, the process is described for a removed engine.
t  The sequence of instructions is identical with the engine mounted and the gearbox removed.
Work sequence
–  Remove the flywheel and the drive plate .
–  Put the engine in TDC cylinder 1 → Chapter
–  Remove sump → Chapter
   
–  Remove the engine speed sender -G28--arrow-.
–  Unscrew the attachment bolts from the sealing flange.
  Note
The sealing flange and the sender wheel are expelled together from the crankshaft by the three M6×35 mm bolts.
  N13-10083
–  Screw three bolts M6 x 35 mm into the threaded holes of the sealing flange-arrows-.
–  Screw in the bolts alternately (max 1/2 turn (180°) per bolt), on the sealing flange and remove it from the crankshaft with the sender wheel.
