  Note
To show the work sequence more clearly, the sequence is described for a removed engine.
–  Remove the flywheel → Chapter or the drive plate → Chapter.
–  Position crankshaft at TDC cylinder. 1:
   
The notched tooth of the notched belt wheel should line up with the mark on the oil pump -arrow-.
  Note
Do not confuse the marks on the seal retainer/oil pump. The notched tooth should line up with the mark coded with 4V.
–  Remove oil sump → Chapter.

–  Remove engine speed sender -arrow-.
–  Unscrew the attachment bolts from the sealing flange.

–  Screw three bolts M6 x 35 mm into the threaded spaces of the sealing flange-arrows-.
–  Screw down the bolts, alternately (max. 1/2 turn (180°) per screw), on the sealing flange and remove it from the crankshaft with the sender wheel.
