Extracting and driving in needle bearing for crankshaft

t	Removing → Anchor.

t	Installing → Anchor.

Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Puller -T10055-, see equivalent → Anchor with adaptor -T10055/3-, see equivalent → Anchor

t	Compression tool -3176- or Compression tool -VW 207C-, see Equivalent → Anchor

t	Puller, e.g. Kukko -21/2-

Removing

–	Remove with a conventional extractor, e.g. Kukko -21/2--arrow-, adaptor -T10055/3- and the extractor -T10055-.

Installing

Note

The needle bearing should be mounted in a manner that the inscription found on its side remains visible.

–	Pressurize with the compression tool -VW 207C- or with the compression tool -3176-.

Assembly depth -a- = 1.5 mm.
