Vehicles with engine code BWA
–  Remove the suction hose -1-.
–  Pull out the plug -2-.
–  Remove the bolts -3-.
–  Remove the engine cover, by pulling firmly upwards.

Vehicles with engine code BWJ
–  Remove the suction hose -1-.
–  Disconnect hose from the attachment clamps -4-.
–  Pull out the plug -2-.
–  Remove the bolts -3-.
–  Remove the engine cover, by pulling firmly upwards.

Continued for all vehicles
–  Remove the activated carbon tank from its mount with the pipes connected by pulling upward and outward -in the direction of the arrow- and set to one side.
The following dimensions must be reached:
  A10-1581
t  Between the engine bracket -2- and the right strut, there must be a distance of -a- = 16 mm.
t  The moulded edge on the engine support -2- must be parallel to the support arm -1- (dimension x = dimension x).
  Note
Dimension a = 16 mm can also be measured with e.g. a suitable cylindrical part.
If the gap is too narrow or too wide, proceed as follows:
