Remove and install the pressure capsule for the exhaust gas turbocharger (engine code BWA)
Remove and install the pressure capsule for the exhaust gas turbocharger (engine code BWA)
t  Removing → Anchor
t  Installing → Anchor
t  Tightening torques → Anchor
Removing
–  Remove turbocharger → Chapter.
–  Remove the clip located at the top of the turbocharger rod.
   
–  Loosen lock nut -2-.
–  Remove the rod from the turbocharger -3-.
–  Remove the pressure capsule -1- from the turbocharger -arrows-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; noting the following in the process:
–  Adjust vacuum unit for turbocharger → Chapter.
–  Install turbocharger → Chapter.
Tightening torques
  A21-10124
