| When working on the fuel supply/injection system, pay careful attention to the following “5 rules”: |

| Thoroughly clean connections and surrounding area before releasing them. |
| t
| Place removed parts on a clean surface and cover. Do not use cloths with loose threads! |
| t
| Carefully cover or seal open components if repairs cannot be carried out immediately. |
| t
| Only fit clean components: Only remove new parts from their packaging immediately before fitting. Do not use parts that have been stored loose (e.g. in toolboxes etc.). |
| t
| If the system is open: do not work with compressed air if this can be avoided. Do not move vehicle unless absolutely necessary. |
