Implementation
t  The data transmission between the control unit and the -V.A.G 1551- or -V.A.G 1552- units is carried out in the operative mode “Fast Data Transmission”.
t  Fault memory: Permanent and volatile memories → Note.
1)  This is erased once the engine is started 50 times if the fault has not reoccurred.
Consult the version of the control unit
The version of the control unit appears on the display when the -V.A.G 1551- or -V.A.G 1552- units are turned on and when the control unit is selected for engine electronics → Chapter.
   
Functions selectable with the -V.A.G 1551/1552- fault reader or the -VAS 5051- unit
