| During the test drive make sure that the at least one braking action activates the ABS system (the pulsations should be felt in the brake pedal) |

| Work on the ABS system demands the highest levels of cleanliness; under no circumstances should auxilliary materials that contain mineral oils be used, such as oil, grease etc. |

| Before soldering connections they should be thouroughly cleaned , but do not use abrassive strong cleaning products such as brake cleaner, petrol, dilutants or similar products |

| Place parts that have been removed on a clean surface and cover. |

| After having separated the control unit from the hydraulic unit, use transport protection for the valve stems. |
