Service interval display:
functioning
The electronic system of the service interval display consists of:
t  A time counter
and
t  two odometers.
The electronics evaluates the counters and informs the driver
t  when a pre-determined time interval has elapsed
or
t  when a certain distance has been reached
with the service interval display, indicating a service is necessary (according to which comes first)
Resetting the service interval display → VAS 5051; Vehicle self-diagnosis
