| The radio and navigation system „RNS SEAT Media System“ is equipped with an electronic anti-theft convenience system which operates in combination with the instrument panel. |
| After disconnecting the voltage supply to the radio / navigation system, the radio operation is restored when reconnecting the voltage supply without entering the anti-theft code number. This is true only if the electronic anti-theft security system has already been activated once and if the radio / navigation system has been refitted in the same vehicle. |
| For a blocked radio and navigation system to work again, the correct electronic anti-theft security code must be entered again. |
| The determination of the anti-theft protection code is carried out with the Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system -VAS 5051- or the vehicle diagnosis and service information system -VAS 5052-. The radio card and the information label that were stuck on previous radio devices are no longer used. |
Note | To determine the anti-theft protection code it is necessary to be connected „online“ to the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system -VAS 5051- or the vehicle diagnosis and service information system -VAS 5052- (connection terminal on common network) and the user should have valid authorisation for the radio code consultation program. |
