General notes With the radio and radio / navigation systems, the aerial system (without differences in the aerial) comprises an integrated aerial in the rear window with an aerial amplifying module. The aerial system with the phase diversity function offers an improved reception quality. The functions of the phase diversity are conducted direct in the radio or in the radio / navigation system. Thus, no additional control unit for the aerial selection is necessary.   Note t  If there is need for complaint, the mode of function and the handling of the radio must be known. t  Additional information → Operating instructions t  If the battery is re-connected, the vehicle equipment must be checked (radio, clock, electrical comfort system etc.), following the instructions in the Repair Manual or Owner's Manual.
