Removing and installing window lifter motor
Removing and installing window lifter motor
Removing:
–  Switch off the ignition and all electrical components.
–  Remove front door trim panel → Chapter.
   
–  Unplug connector -2-.
–  Screw out the fixing screws -1-.
–  Remove window lifter motor -3- from the door assembly carrier.
  Note
Do not let the coil with rolled up cable fall out!
Installing:
–  Insert window lifter motor -3- on flange.
–  Tighten fixing screws -1- (3 Nm).
–  Mount plug -2-.
–  Install front door trim panel → Chapter.
–  Switch ignition on and off.
–  Switch on ignition again.
–  Raise the window to the top up to the stop and activate the window lifter switch for approximately 3 seconds more. This completes the basic setting and simultaneously activates the automatic depth run function.
