General description, removing and installing
The multi-functional module is located on the left in front of the steering column switch and is available in two versions:
t  Control for audio
t  Control for audio + mobile phone
  Note
A control unit is integrated into the multi-functional module. If the multi-functional module was replaced, perform a functional test and if necessary coding → Vehicle diagnostic tester
Removing
–  Remove steering wheel → Body Work; Rep. gr.69.
   
–  Removing top and bottom steering column trim -2- → Body Work; Rep. gr.70.
–  Disconnect the plug connection.
–  Release screws -arrows- (0.9 Nm).
–  Unclip multi-functional module -1- from the holder -3-.
Install
–  Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
