Inspect valve guides
Inspect valve guides
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Universal dial gauge holder -MP 3-447-
t  Dial gauge
Procedure
–  Place the cylinder head on level metal plate.
–  Insert new valve into guide. End of valve stem must be flush with guide.
   
–  Determine valve rock.
   Wear limit:
   Inlet valve guide = 1.0 mm
   Outlet valve guide = 1.3 mm
