Removing and installing cylinder head
Removing and installing cylinder head
  Note
t  Always replace cylinder head bolts.
t  Always replace self-locking nuts.
t  Hose connections and hoses for charge air system must be free of oil and grease before being installed.
t  When installing an exchange cylinder head with the camshafts installed, it is necessary to oil the contact surfaces between bucket tappets and cams.
t  Do not remove the plastic covers supplied as a protection for the open valves until just before fitting on the cylinder head.
t  If the cylinder head is replaced, the system must be completely filled with fresh coolant.
Remove and install intake hose → 1.8 ltr./132 kW Engine, Fuel Injection and Ignition System → Rep. Gr.24.
Removing and installing timing belt → Chapter.
Testing compression pressure → Chapter.
