Removing and installing the front sealing flange > < Removing

  Note
The sealing lips of the PTFE gasket ring must neither be oiled nor greased.
–  Remove oil residue on the crankshaft stub with a clean cloth.
   
–  Insert bushing -T10053/1- on the crankshaft stub.
–  Slide gasket ring over the bushing -T10053/1- onto the crankshaft stub.

–  Push in gasket ring with assembly device -T10053- and bolt (M16 x 1.5 x 60) -T10053/2- up to the stop.
–  Install timing belt gear crankshaft and lock with counterholder -T30004- or counterholder -MP 1-310 -.
–  Tighten new central bolt for crankshaft toothed belt sprocket to 120 Nm and torque a further 90° (1/4 turn).
–  Install timing belt and tension → Chapter.
