Removing timing belt
→ Chapter

Remove crankshaft toothed belt sprocket. Lock timing belt sprocket with counterholder -T30004- or counterholder - MP 1-310-.
Note
When screwing on the counterholder -MP 1-310- place both washers between the toothed belt gear and the counterholder.

To guide the gasket ring extractor screw in central screw for crankshaft toothed belt sprocket in the crankshaft up to the stop.

Unscrew inner part of the gasket ring extractor -MP 1-226- two turns (approx. 3 mm) out of the outer part and lock with knurled screw.

Oil the thread head of the gasket ring extractor, position and forcefully screw into the gasket ring as far as possible.

Release knurled screw and turn the inner side against the crankshaft until the gasket ring is pulled out.
