  Note
The sealing lips of the PTFE gasket ring must neither be oiled nor greased.
–  Remove oil residue on the camshaft stud with a clean cloth.
–  Stick over slot on the camshaft cone with adhesive tape (e.g. Scotch tape).
–  Carefully fit seal onto camshaft.
   
–  Press in the sealing ring with the pressure plate of the inserting tool -MP1-214- and screw M12 x 65 up to the stop.
–  Install camshaft sprocket and hub → Chapter.
–  Install and tension timing belt → Chapter.
