Install
Install
Installation is performed in a similar way in the reverse order. Pay attention to the following points:
  Note
Replace cylinder head cover rubber gasket and cylinder head cover bolts if damaged.
  WARNING
Wear protective googles and gloves when working with sealant and grease remover!
–  Thoroughly clean sealing surfaces from sealant and oil residues.
   
–  Apply on both edges -arrows- in the contact faces of the cylinder head sealing surface and the bearing caps at the front ...

–  ...°and at the rear with a small amount of (Ø approx. 5 mm) sealant -D 454 300 A2--arrows-.
–  Position cylinder head cover with intermediate gasket and screws.
  S15-0453
–  Tighten the bolts of the cylinder head cover in sequence -1 ... 13- to 10 Nm.
