Adjusting works when replacing individual components
When working on the gearbox it is only necessary to re-set the drive wheel, input shaft with output gear or differential gear housing if parts were replaced that directly affect the setting of the final drive. To avoid unnecessary settings, refer to the following table:
  Set: 
Component to be replaced:Differential gear housing with riveted pinion

Tapered-roller bearing for drive wheel X

1) Always replace the drive wheel and the output gear together.
