Removing and installing the control unit for trailer detection
Removing and installing the control unit for trailer detection
Removing:
–  Switch off the ignition and all electrical components.
–  Partly remove side trim panels in luggage compartment → Chapter.
   
–  Separate plug connections -3-.
–  Remove fixing nuts -1- (1.5 Nm).
–  Remove the control unit for trailer detection -2- from the vehicle.
Installing:
–  Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
  Note
When replacing the control unit, code the new control unit with the → Vehicle diagnostic tester.
