| Catch pan for workshop crane e.g. - VAS 6208- |

| Pliers for spring strap clamps |

| Refractometer -T10007- or -T10007A- |
Note t
| Collect drained coolant in a clean container for reuse or proper disposal. |
t
| Observe the disposal instructions. |
WARNING Hot steam may escape when the compensation bottle is opened. |
t
| Wear safety goggles and safety clothing, in order to avoid eye injuries and scalding. |
t
| Cover the cap with a cloth and open carefully. |

| Open compensation bottle. |

| Place a catch pan under the radiator. |
Note t
| Depending on the components which must be removed → Chapter, the coolant from the engine cooling system, from the charge air cooling system or from both cooling systems must be drained. |
t
| If the coolant must be replaced, it should be drained from both cooling systems. |
