| The decoupling element in the front part of the exhaust system should not be bent by more than 30° - danger of damaging it. |

| Replace the gaskets and the self-locking nuts. |

| When performing installation work on the exhaust system, make sure the exhaust system is not mounted under tension (except chapter “Align exhaust system free of stress”) and has adequate clearance from the vehicle body. If necessary slacken the front double clamp and align the exhaust system so as to create adequate clearance between these components and the vehicle body, and that the weight of the exhaust system is evenly distributed over the hangers. |
