Fuel rail with injection valves - Summary of components
1 - Retaining clip
q   check tightness on the injection valve and retaining bracket
q   fit on with the open side to the connector of the injection valve
2 - O-ring
q   replace
q   before fitting moisten lightly with clean engine oil
3 - Injector -N30 … N33-
q   resistance: 12.0 … 17.0 Ω (at room temperature)
q   removing and installing → Chapter
4 - Gasket ring
q   replace → Chapter
q   the gasket ring must not be oiled
5 - Vacuum hose
q   to intake manifold valve -N316- → Chapter, (side connection)
6 - Fuel return hose
q   to distributor in the fuel feed line → Chapter
q   blue or blue marking
q   secure with spring strap clamps
q   check for firm seating
7 - Pressure limiting valve
q   replace removed valve
q   before fitting O-rings moisten lightly with clean engine oil
q   press in by hand using an 8 mm hexagon socket wrench
8 - Screw plug, 20 Nm
9 - Fuel distributor (bottom part of intake manifold)
q   removing and installing → Chapter
