t  The hose connections are secured with spring strap clips or clamp-type clips.
t  Always replace clamp-type clips with spring-type clips.
t  Use pliers for spring strap clips to fit the spring strap clips.
t  Safety precautions when working on the fuel supply system → Chapter.
t  Rules of cleanliness when working on the fuel supply system → Chapter.
1 - Activated charcoal filter
q   Fitting position: in right of engine compartment
q   if the catch peg is unlocked, the activated charcoal filter can be removed from the holder
q   Checking the fuel tank venting → Chapter
2 - Pressure holding valve with connection hose
3 - 8 Nm
4 - Connecting hose
q   check for firm seating
q   press in the securing ring for the separation.
5 - from fuel tank
6 - 8 Nm
7 - 5 Nm
8 - Support
q   for activated charcoal filter
9 - from exhaust turbocharger
10 - To intake manifold
11 - Double non-return valve
q   attached to intake manifold → Chapter
q   a component with activated charcoal filter solenoid valve 1 - N80-
12 - 12 Nm
13 - Solenoid valve 1 for activated charcoal filter -N80-
q   Valve closed when ignition is switched off
q   valve is actuated (pulsed) by engine control unit when engine is warm
q   a component with double non-return valve
