1 - Screw plug, 25 Nm
2 - Gasket
q   replace
3 - Oil cooler
q   pay attention to the information regarding a necessary replacement
q   Connection diagram for coolant hoses Superb II → Chapter, Octavia II → Chapter
4 - Gasket
q   replace
q   Fitting position → Fig.
5 - 15 Nm + torque a further 90° (1/4 turn)
q   replace
q   tighten crosswise
6 - Gasket
q   replace
7 - Oil filter holder
q   with oil retaining valve
q   Oil retaining valve cannot be replaced individually
8 - Sealing ring
q   replace
9 - Oil pressure switch -F1-, 20 Nm
q   0.07 MPa (0.7 bar) switch
q   check → Chapter
10 - Screw cap, 25 Nm
q   loosen and tighten up with the oil filter spanner -3417-
11 - O-ring
q   replace
12 - Oil filter element
q   remove from the cap → Item
q   Replace O-rings → Item and → Item if oil filter element is changed
q   Check fitting position
q   pay attention to change intervals → Superb II
13 - O-ring
q   replace
14 - Oil feed line
q   to exhaust gas turbocharger
q   Observe the mounting sequence:
–  Screw on the union nuts first of all by hand.
–  Then tighten the union nuts to 22 Nm.
–  Subsequently secure the oil feed line in the brackets.
15 - Connection fittings, 35 Nm
16 - Sealing ring
q   replace

   
Fitting position of gasket for engine oil cooler
–  Place the gasket -2- in such a way that it can be pressed onto all the lugs of the engine oil cooler -1-.
l  The oil duct -arrow- must not be covered from the gasket.
