Replacing gasket ring between angle gearbox and gearbox on installed gearbox (Octavia II, Superb II)

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Thrust piece -T10243-

t	Extractor tool -T20143-

Catch pan

t	Sealing grease -G 052 128 A1-

Removing

–	Remove angle gearbox:

t	Octavia II, Superb II → Chapter.

t	Yeti → Chapter.

–	Position the catch pan under the gearbox.

–	Pull out gasket ring for gearbox with extraction hook -T20143-.

Install

–	Lightly oil new gasket ring at outer surface.

–	Fill half the space between the sealing lip and dust lip with sealing grease -G 052 128 A1-.

–	Drive in the new gasket ring with thrust piece -T10243- up to the stop, do not twist the new gasket ring.

–	Install angle gearbox → Chapter.

–	Inspect the gear oil level in the gearbox → Chapter.
