  Note
t  Before installing heat the inner ring of the tapered-roller bearing to 100°C.
t  Replace both tapered-roller bearings together.
t  When replacing the tapered-roller bearing of the differential gear housing, gearbox housing and clutch housing adjust the differential.

q   replace gasket ring together with bushing in the event of damage → Chapter

12 - 25 Nm
q   screw 20 into threaded piece Pos. 20
13 - Flange shaft
q   left - removing and installing → Chapter
q   right - remove and install in separated version (Octavia II) → Chapter
q   right - remove and install in single version (Octavia II) → Chapter
14 - Pressure spring for flange shaft
q   fitted behind flange shafts
15 - Thrust washer
